What Does the following MRI Scan Report Indicate?

I have had pain in knee for two months. Mri shoes mild subluxation of patellofemoral joint and my doctor says the swelling is from the fat pad. He wants to do surgery to shave the fat pad. I am in so much pain and have so much swelling at the end of my work day after walking on my leg. Should I be in a brace or using crutches until the surgery? Is there a chance I could make it worse? I have a pain of at least 6/10 everyday and I don t want pain meds I just want to fix my knee. Any suggestions?

hi..your doctors advise is right...
you have to go through surgery for fat pad..now or later..
no second option is there..
and yes it will worsen with time and may cause deformity to joint..
so go with surgery..
